The purposes of this research were 1) to study the components of social
entrepreneurs influencing economic and social security; 2) to compare the
attitude of people towards social entrepreneurs classified by the demographic
profiles; and 3) to present the forecast equation model of the components of
social entrepreneurs influencing economic and social security. The researcher
applied the quantitative research method in conducting this study, using the
questionnaires to collect the primary data from 380 samples. The statistics
used in this study are percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test
(One Way ANOVAs), Pearson Correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research
results show that the respondents, who have different age, business type, and
operational period, have different attitude towards the components of social
entrepreneur with the statistical significance at the level of .05; while the
respondents who have different gender, and education level, have the same
attitude towards the components of social entrepreneurs. The forecast equation
model of the components of social entrepreneurs influencing economic and social
security is consisted of 4 components, which are leadership for social change,
morality/virtue, social innovation, and vision of entrepreneurs. - See more at:.
