Location based routing is an upcoming research domain due to their
ability to improve energy efficiency of a wireless sensor network; energy
efficiency is an important factor deciding the performance of a WSN. Location
aware routing protocols utilize location information to discover and maintain a
route, thus selecting the best route to minimize the energy consumption. The
research paper presents an analysis of mainly used location aware routing
protocols Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing (GPSR), Geographic and Energy
